“Living Well Alaska: Better Choices Better Health” workshop is planned at 1 p.m., Tuesdays at Mat-Su Senior Services, 1132 S. Chugach St., Palmer, through Dec. 10.
The six-week workshop is designed to teach people to manage all kinds of chronic illnesses, such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, asthma, and/or chronic pain. The workshops cover a range of topics, including healthy eating, relaxation techniques, managing fatigue, low-impact exercising, managing medications, problem solving, goal setting and working with your health professional.
