In every nation in the entire world there is a common symbol that has a power like no other to bring hope even when it has been shot and torn into a rag

And ours withstood the onslaught on Fort McHenry to boldly wave in the dawn’s early light that inspired a nation to continue to fight for the right to fly our own flag.

A nation predicated to stand above the tawdry fray of political corruption and dictatorship’s evil clutch that insured liberty and justice for all

And when those elected officials loose their grip on their honor for personal gain, a nation can teeter and tremble until a champion with both hands grabs the flag pole and holds it tall.

We as a nation need to find that champion whose honor and integrity knows no bound

And the hardest question is exactly where can such a person be found.

And the answer is the person who is unafraid to admit that it is on their knees in honest supplication seeking answers on how to turn this nation around

And having no fear to make those hard decisions with valor’s honor to astound.

There will be many who will ridicule this honest plea for a champion’s application that has no fear

And provide the leadership to again by the dawns early light rejoice that our flag is still here.
