MAT-SU — Mat-Su Borough Emergency Services, North America Outdoor Institute, Firewise and dozens of other agencies and organizations will offer the fifth annual Emergency Preparedness Safety Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 14 at Mat-Su College, Mile 2.2, Trunk Road.
This free, family friendly event features a host of activities, products and information for all ages designed to teach survival and preparedness skills. Learn and practice important skills that could save lives, and earn a chance to win prizes.
Experience the “Disaster Room” for an up-close opportunity to find out if you’re ready. Disaster scenarios will change throughout the event.
Exhibitors will have a variety of products and supplies to help families prepare for emergencies.
