Mat-Su Women’s Connection’s next luncheon is Monday from noon to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 17 at Evangelo’s Restaurant. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon costs $15.
The event includes a presentation by Joyce Fisher from Valley Quilting Guild called “Quilting — Creating Memories for Today.” She will share how the art of quilting can create memories from yesterday to today.
Darla Wales will present a talk called “True Reflections.” Learn how reflections change over time from disappointment to contentment, insecure to confident.
Free nursery care is provided at Wasilla Christian Church, 2201 Knik-Goose Bay Road. The nursery opens at 11:30 a.m. Nursery reservations are required. Include names, ages and bring a sack lunch. The nursery is in the basement portion of the church and is accessed to the left of the main entrance, then go down the stairs to the right.
