TALKEETNA — “Moose on Parade” returns to this summer during the annual Fourth of July celebration. The parade begins at noon and the auction follows at 2 p.m., July 4. Proceeds support three local non-profit organizations each year.
Here’s how it works. Each year, local artists and community members of all ages are invited to create moose for the parade, which runs along Main Street to the Village Park in Talkeetna.
The event includes live music and a picnic lunch.
