The next round of technical work group meetings on the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6, 7 and June 12-14. Here’s a list of which work group meets which day:
• June 6 — Terrestrial Sciences
• June 7 — Social Sciences
• June 12 — Fisheries
• June 13 — Instream Flow and Water Quality
• June 14 — Geomorphology and Ice Processes
All meetings are in the large conference room on the first floor of the yellow Sunshine Mall in Downtown Anchorage. GoTo Meeting webinars and a conference line will also be available and information will be sent with agendas.
Requests for studies and comments on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Scoping Document 1 and the Alaska Energy Authority’s Pre-Application Document for the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project must be filed with FERC (Ferc.gov) by May 31.
