This year’s Matanuska Telephone Association’s annual meeting begins at 5:30 p.m., June 5 at Raven Hall on the Alaska State Fairgrounds.
Registration for the meeting begins at 7 p.m. and a photo ID is required.
Two major items are on the agenda at this year’s meeting, election of two directors and consideration of two bylaw amendments.
Up for re-election to the MTA Board of Directors are Al Strawn and George Trabits.
Members also will vote on two proposed amendments to the bylaws. Proposition 1 would correct and clarify miscellaneous provisions. Proposition 2 would update and clarify voting requirements.
In addition to voting by mail and at the annual meeting, this year members also may vote online in the MTA election. To vote online members will need their ballot and password, which were mailed to members separately.
