PALMER — Natasha Bedingfield was recently confirmed to perform during the 2024 Alaska State Fair.

According to a press release, Bedingfield is the final act confirmed for the 2024 Alaska State Fair Concert Series, and she will perform at the Borealis Theatre Friday, August 16, at 7 p.m.

The Grammy-nominated and platinum-selling pop artist was named one of VH1’s “100 Greatest Women in Music.” Bedingfield has sold over 10 million albums and received numerous Brit Award nominations for Best British Female Artist.

2024 is the 20th anniversary of her iconic 2004 hit, “Unwritten” which is experiencing a resurgence due to its inclusion in the new romantic comedy “Anyone But You.”

The press release cited the song as “one of the most recognizable hits of the 2000s” that went platinum twice in the U.K. and U.S. The press release also indicated that the song is currently streaming just under 2 million times a day across the world and recently re-entered the UK Top 20 for the first time in 19 years, charting at #18.

On top of releasing multiple solo hits, Bedingfield has collaborated with big names in the music industry such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Sheryl Crow.

Bedingfield joins other 2024 Alaska State Fair Concert Series acts including Oliver Anthony, Whiskey Myers, Mt. Joy, Kolohe Kai, Ludacris, Stephen Sanchez, NEEDTOBREATHE, Wynonna Judd, Halestorm, Theory of a Deadman, Straight No Chaser, and Justin Moore.

Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets that include Fair admission. Concert tickets that include Fair admission must be purchased by August 15. The included admission comes at a discounted price and only works for the day of the concert.
