Progress continues on the new Valley Native Primary Care Center at the intersection of the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and Knik-Goose Bay Road. When finished, the 85,317-square-foot facility will employ more than 180 staff and offer services from dentistry to optometry, and audiology to behavioral health.

The front facade of the new Native Primary Care Center continues
to take shape. The large southern facing floor to ceiling windows
provide lots of natural light for the interior lobby area. ROBERT DeBERRY/Frontiersman
