Dear Editor,
Annually, I put out a reminder for myself, and others ,of a few simple( not easy) ways of treating others, that, I think, especially now, we could use. Anchorage Daily News didnt think it was important, so... movin' on, as they say.
Be kind to one another. Boy, sometimes that's a hard one. The politics of this Country is so divisive. Most my friendsadore the earth Trump ealks on. Me, not so much.It takes an iron will to be kind so.etimes, but it's worth it.
Judge not lest ye be judged. Some of the best people I know look a little odd,or laugh a little loud. One such couple opened their house and hearts years ago, when I was homeless. All the affluent folks I know didnt know my name.
Ah, this is a huge one, and sometimes its a daily choice, but forgiving is the hardest, and most worthwhile thing you can do. Most of the people we need to forgive don't give a hoot how we feel, anyway. Its the laying down of that awful burden, that is a gift to yourself.
May God Bless us all, especially the homeless, and the victims of covid 19.
Dear folks, not trying to make your day harder , but I tried every which way to put in a letter to the Editor. Couldnt find one
