Rasmuson Foundation is accepting applications through March 2 for the 2020 Individual Artist Awards. These awards provide artists with grants, professional development, promotional opportunities and much more. As part of the program’s outreach, the Foundation is hosting a series of hands-on workshops to help artists craft an application for this competitive award including one in Palmer on Jan. 16. Foundation staff will explain the process, lead activities to jumpstart applications and answer questions. The workshops are free but the Foundation asks artists to register to get a headcount.
The hands-on workshop to help artists apply for a Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Award is Jan. 16, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. at the Palmer Museum of History & Art, 723. Sign up through the Rasmuson Foundation Facebook event or by going to rasmuson.org/iaa.
For more, email arts@rasmuson.org or call 907-297-2700. Learn more about the Individual Artist Awards at rasmuson.org/iaa. For those unable to attend a workshop in person, a webinar is set for Feb. 4. It will be recorded and shared on rasmuson.org. Go to rasmuson.org/iaa for more.
