Palmer Chamber of Commerce encourages public to shop local during Small Business Saturday

WASILLA — The Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce invited the public to shop in their downtown district this Small Business Saturday to support local businesses.

The Palmer Chamber issued the following statement on their website, “Supporting small business is the best way for you to help stimulate the local economy. Your hard-earned money could go to any number of destinations, but being able to interact with the local businesses who’ve benefited from your local support really makes a difference in developing a sense of pride in your community. The Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with its membership, will be hosting the annual Small Business Saturday shopping event.
