PETCO opens in Wasilla

The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce and city of Wasilla welcomed new business PETCO to the city. Joining the ribbon cutting Nov. 7 is PETCO manager Robert Ditmer, PETCO Mascot Red Ruff, PETCO Mascot Blue Mews, Wasilla Mayor Bert Cottle, Chamber CEO Lyn Carden, Chamber Board of Directors member Erika Bills and chamber members Dan Kennedy of Swalling and Associates and Michelle Bryant of Charter College (http://www.chartercollege.edu/).

PETCO is located at 1801 East Palmer-Wasilla Highway, Wasilla. Store Hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The store provides supplies for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, birds and just about any other pet supplies you can think of. They provide onsite pet grooming as well as several other pet services. PETCO contributes to local pet charities.
