Aug. 15, 11:12 p.m., Crazy Pearsons Road. Troopers responding to a disturbance at a residence later arrested Wasilla resident Tammy Norpel, 48, on charges of disorderly conduct. According to the report, Norpel was creating a disturbance with household members and was given a warning about her conduct by troopers. After the warning, Norpel subsequently entered into a verbal altercation with household members, the report said, which resulted in her arrest. She was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.
Aug. 15, 10:56 a.m. Troopers received a report of the theft of a boat motor from a residence off Cottonwood Way in Wasilla. The boat motor was taken directly off a pontoon boat on Mud Lake, according to the report, and was described as a 2006 silver Honda five-horsepower, four-stroke with a three-bladed propeller. According to the report, the motor was stolen sometime between July 30 and and Aug. 14. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call troopers at 352-5401.
Aug. 17, 12:51 a.m., Bogard Road and Leatherleaf Loop. A traffic stop on a red Ford Ranger for an equipment violation led to charges of driving with a revoked license for Wasilla resident David Caswell, 30. Caswell was issued a misdemeanor citation with a promise to appear in court at a later date and released at the scene. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
Aug. 9. Police arrested Wasilla resident Jasmine L. Bragg, 22, on a $125 warrant for failure to appear to a change of plea hearing on an original charge of fourth-degree theft. She was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.
Aug. 9. Police arrested Palmer resident Katherine Perryman, 25, on a $5,000 warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation on an original charge of theft. She was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.
Aug. 11. Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision at Glacier View Road and the Glenn Highway in which no injuries or citations were reported.
Aug. 12. Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Evergreen Avenue and Cobb Street in which no injuries or citations were reported.
Aug. 12. Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on West Evergreen Avenue near the intersection of Rowland Memorial Way in which no injuries or citations were reported.
Aug. 13. Police arrested Renton, Washington, resident Scott B. Alexander, 54, on DUI charges and and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was later released on his own recognizance.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Aug. 8, 12:12 a.m., North Crusey Street and East Westpoint Drive. A traffic stop resulted in a citation for improper registration for Jeffrey Moore. He was issued a summons to appear in court for the offense.
Aug. 9, 3:56 p.m., Parks Highway and Crusey Street. Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in which the 17-year-old female driver of the suspect vehicle fled on foot but was later identified. Charges of leaving the scene of a collision were being forwarded to the District Attorney’s office, according to the report.
Aug. 10, 12:40 a.m., Palmer Wasilla Highway at Roberts Street. A traffic stop for speeding resulted in charges of driving with a suspended license, providing false information and no vehicle liability insurance for Sydney Brown.
Aug. 10, 10:46 a.m., East Glenwood Avenue. Police responded to a residence for a reported disturbance and later arrested Kelly Jenkins on charges of domestic violence criminal mischief . Jenkins was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial and held without bail.
Aug. 10, 2:01 p.m., South Clapp Street and South Mack Drive. A traffic stop resulted in a citation for Revekka Mardakhaeva for driving in violation of her instructional permit. Mardakhaeva was issued a court summons and released to a valid driver.
Aug. 10, 9:48 p.m., East Kalli Circle. Police responded to a residence after receiving an open line 911 call. Robert Bowlin was later charged with domestic violence assault and taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.
