Port Mac rail project breaks ground today

The Port MacKenzie Rail Extension Project is celebrating with Alaskans who see the potential for billions of dollars in mineral production, hundreds of millions in annual state revenue and thousands of jobs.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the project is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m., June 4 at the Port MacKenzie port office, 28000 S. Don Young Road.
