The deadline for proposals is 5 p.m., March 21 to submit proposals for a 1 Percent for Art project to be located at Snodgrass Hall at the University of Alaska Mat-Su College campus.
Presently, Snodgrass Hall is home to the college’s science and math programs. Its 5,400 square foot addition is home to the college’s paramedic program and offers additional space to UAA’s nursing program.
The Art Selection Committee is composed of faculty, staff and students, and is interested in artists and/or artist teams that propose artwork to reflect community perception of Mat-Su College, awareness of the college or the purpose of the expansion. The committee will not limit media as long as the art is appropriate to display at the chosen site.
Complete RFP documents for this project are available in electronic form and may be viewed online at bit.ly/1kFv9oj.
