MAT-SU — After months of selling raffle tickets to win a Polaris Outlaw 90 off-road vehicle, donated by Paul Hughes of Eagle River Polaris/Arctic Cat, the 49th State Street Rodders presented a check for more than $6,100 to Fisher House of Alaska. Club members sold tickets at more than 30 car shows and collector car events throughout Southcentral Alaska this summer. A winning ticket was drawn during the 49th State Street Rodders’ 11th annual Freedom Flag Run on Sept. 14.

Fisher House of Alaska is a free home away from home for military families of wounded servicemen and women located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
