The community is invited to come out and show their support of the mission of The Children’s Place and other local organizations on Friday, April 5, 2024, for the annual GO BLUE Rally.
The GO BLUE Rally is part of The Children’s Place bringing awareness to honoring April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.
“This month ALL month, we’ll be educating about the importance of child advocacy, child abuse prevention, and the important steps we can take as a community to begin to help, heal, and restore children who have experienced abuse in the Matsu Borough.”
The rally is set to take place at Newcomb Park in Wasilla, next to the Pizza Hut, Friday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to wear blue and bring signs.
The Children’s Place will be celebrating their 25th anniversary advocating for hope, healing, and justice later this month with a gala.
