Recognizing the women of Palmer

The Palmer “Month of March” can’t finish up without celebrating local Women’s History (Herstory) Month. Our foremothers worked hard to build Palmer. Many of these exceptional women are gone now. However, in their legendary wake, are scores of contributing and talented women who continue to build our Palmer community. A collection of their stories would be an amazing piece of work to read.

In the meanwhile we must be content with a list of their names, in no particular order. This extensive listing is a result of crowd-sourcing with hundreds of suggestions; it is probably incomplete. However, let’s read it, remember, smile and “Say Her Name,” in recognition of Women’s History Month in Palmer.
