NINILCHIK — Salmonstock returns to the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds Aug. 3-5.
The three-day, four-stage music festival features more than 30 Outside and Alaska bands. National acts include Clinton Fearon, Tim Easton, Great American Taxi, Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Jim Page, Ozomatli, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and Todd Snider.
Alaska acts include Melissa Mitchell Band, Sweating Honey and The Whipsaws. More than 3,000 people attended the 2011 Renewable Resources Foundation fundraiser to protect wild Alaska salmon habitat.
Before May 31, festival passes are $95, passes are $110 from June 1 to Aug. 1 and $130 thereafter.
