PALMER — Mat-Su District Cooperative Extension is offering several classes at its new Palmer location in Kerttula Hall at the UAF Matanuska Experiment Farm, 1509 S. Georgeson Rd.

Here’s the list of upcoming classes:

• See the film “What’s on Your Plate?” by Catherine Gund from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 13 in Kerttula Hall, Room 208. UAF Nutrition Educator Winona Benson will present the film, tips, recipes and a food cooking demonstration. Registration required by Feb. 11. Cost is $5 per person, or $10 per family. • Learn to make fresh mozzarella in a hands-on class from 6 to 9 p.m., Feb. 17 in Kerttula Hall, Room 208. Cost is $20. Sign up online at bit.ly/ces-workshops, or at the extension office. For more information, call 745-3360.

• The extension also will offer its 2015 Master Food Preservation Series from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays, March 3 to April 28 at Kerttula Hall, Room 208. Cost is $125 for the series, or $20 per class. Signup online at bit.ly/ces‐workshops, or at the extension office.

April 14 — Dehydrating Fruits and Vegetables

April 21 — Fresh Sausage

April 28 — Master Food Preserver
