MAT-SU — Lemonade Day Alaska teaches kids about starting a business, but also about the importance of financial literacy and giving back to the community. Program participants are allowed to keep all of the money they raise from operations, but are encouraged to spend a little, save a little and share a little with their community.
Lemonade Day Alaska recognizes that the leaders of tomorrow are shaped by the actions of today.
Lemonade Day Alaska staff expect to continue the rapid expansion of the program in 2014 by having more than 3,800 youth participate statewide on June 14. Youth interested in signing up for the program can sign up using the online registration form, which opens April 7.
