Small business development class offered

Alaska Small Business Development Center offers one more workshop this month. Preregistration is required at aksbdc.org or 373-7232. Classes meet at the Wasilla business development center, 201 N. Lucille St., Suite 2A, on the second floor of the KeyBank building, unless otherwise noted. The workshops are funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Crocket also presents “QuickBooks 2011 — Beginning” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for those who already have business bookkeeping knowledge or attended the “Basic Business Bookkeeping” workshop. This hands-on (computers provided) workshop will provide information on using QuickBooks software for the beginner using the program for his/her business bookkeeping. Cost: $150.
