WASILLA — Professional photographers Hanna Thimsen of Relic Photographic, Amber Lanphier of Studio Ardent and Heather Dunn of Ambience Photography have teamed up with Jessica Steele of Be Vintage Rentals to form The Studio Suite. The community is invited to an open house and grand opening celebration from 7 to 9 p.m., Oct. 19 at 5030 Shennum Drive, Wasilla. Attendees will enjoy fine-art portraiture, appetizers, drinks and dance to live jazz performed by the Impromptu Quartet.
While each photographer maintains their own unique business, The Studio Suite is a joint effort to offer indoor and outdoor nontraditional studio settings. Featured in The Studio Suite’s sets are many fine pieces of antique furniture from Be Vintage Rentals.
One attendee will win a combined session with the photographers. Thimsen of Relic Photographic says combined sessions are another service the business offers.
“While we each keep our own business and appointments separately, on occasion we will be combining efforts,” the photographers say in a press release. “Clients will be photographed by each photographer in a different set during their session. This will bring a lot of fun variety to the finished images, since our styles are so unique.”
