The Alaska State Fair has featured the Bright up the Night drive through Christmas lights display throughout the holiday season. The holiday displays contain several flickering sets that imply movement, ranging from Santa Claus in a helicopter to green aliens waving to passing vehicles with the iconic red hats on their oblong heads. Those who attend can tune their car radios to 90.7 AM and be treated to holiday music that is synced with the display. The show continues through Jan. 2. Hours are from 4 to 9 p.m. For tickets and more information, see alaskastatefair.org/site/bright-up-the-night. For full coverage, see frontiersman.com.
