PALMER — Where can you get first-rate Italian food prepared by a world-class chef and also be treated to a live concert by a well-known vocalist, all for $20?
While tickets last, folks can get a seat at the Palmer Moose Lodge during a fundraiser for Greg Gusse from 5 to 8 p.m., March 23 where chef Marian Romano will prepare the eats and performer Marian Call will cap the night with a savory musical encore.
Gusse has been diagnosed with stage 4 bladder and prostate cancer and friends of the Palmer artist and businessman have set up a series of fundraisers to help with treatment costs.
Admission includes a lasagna dinner, live music and live and silent auctions — including an art auction of work donated by various Alaska artists and galleries. Tickets are $20 or $200 for a table, and are available at the door or may be purchased in advance at Madd Matters, Non-Essentials, from Laurie Green at 354-6339, or online at funds4greg.eventbrite.com.
People also can donate to a fund set up for his benefit at Matanuska Valley Federal Credit, account No. 141599GU.
For more information, contact Funds4greg@gmail.com. To donate items to the fundraiser, contact Laurie Green at 354-6339.
