MAT-SU — Two Valley organizations received Rasmuson Foundation as part of its first quarter award cycle of Tier 1 grants. The foundation gave a total of $ 674,713 to 31 Alaska organizations.
Girl Scouts of Alaska Anchorage received $20,457 and Valley Community for Recycling Solutions Wasilla received $24,000 for a sign and educational tools.
The Tier 1 program is a cornerstone of Rasmuson Foundation’s grant program and provides awards of up to $25,000 for capital projects, technology upgrades, capacity building, program expansion, and creative works. Tier 1 applications are accepted year-round.
