The Wasilla Veterans Center offers informational briefings Thursdays at 5 p.m.
Topics covered include readjustment counseling services, VA health care, education programs (GI Bill, VRAP and vocational rehab), claims process, employment assistance and community resources.
Attendance is open to veterans of all branches and eras, including active duty and deployed reserve components, as well as their dependents and survivors. Special attention is given to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.
