WASILLA — Rick Mystrom is master of ceremonies at Valley Performing Arts’ Season 36 annual meeting and awards ceremony June 13 at the Fred and Sara Machetanz Theatre, 251 W. Swanson Ave., Wasilla. Everyone is welcome.
Each year, VPA members select the Members’ Choice Awards for their favorite play, actor and production crewmembers. Categories are Best Production, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Set Design, Lighting Design, Sound Effects and Costume Design.
In addition, VPA also presents its Board Appreciation, Artistic Director’s Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, Best Newcomer and The Milking Stool award.
At the annual meeting, members also will elect three new VPA board members.
