Valley Performing Arts is recruiting ushers for its 37th season, which begins Sept. 7.

Each season, VPA presents seven quality, live theatre productions between September and May. Actors, crewmembers and volunteers from the community support the nonprofit organization. In addition, volunteer ushers meet and greet theatergoers, assist with concessions sales, hand out programs and help guests find their seats. There will be an informational meetings at 11 a.m., Aug. 25 and 2 p.m., Aug. 26 at the Fred and Sara Machetanz Theater, 251 W. Swanson Ave., Wasilla. If you can’t attend, people may call the office and apply at 373-0195.

Tickets are on sale now for Season 37, which includes “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” Sept. 7-23, “The Deathtrap” Oct. 12 to Nov. 4, “Cotton Patch Gospel” Nov. 23 to Dec. 23; “Sense and Sensibility” Jan. 11 to Feb. 3, “Clue The Musical” Feb. 22 to March 17, “The Sting” April 5 to 21 and “The Beverly Hillbillies” May 10 to 26.
