Attention employers, job seekers, entrepreneurs and everyone in between-whether you are looking for a job within the trades, wanting to expand your hiring pool, or maybe even launch your own business, the Warrior Nation Community Schools (WNCS) might be just what you are looking for.
On the heels of the successful Pilot Program that was geared to Ukrainian refugees calling the Mat-Su home, WNCS is preparing for its next session, offering everything from an 8-week Yamaha-Introduction to Outboard Systems to a 4-week Marketing with an emphasis on Photo and Video Editing, with several other courses available as well.
Other courses include Construction Trades, Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship, Automotive Pre-Apprenticeship 1 & 2, and Marketing with an emphasis on Graphic Design.
The courses are offered in the evening and are available to all residents in the Mat-Su Borough 18 and older at no cost. Dinner and childcare is available at no cost.
There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, March 4 at Wasilla High School Library, starting at 5 p.m.
