Wasilla artist featured in Seattle art show

Wasilla artist Terry McAnally is one of 86 artists selected for the 75th annual International Open Exhibition on display from July 1 to Sept. 30 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

Internationally known juror Judy Morris chose McAnally’s painting “Courtship” from more than 600 entries from seven countries and 24 states.

Co-jurors Alvaro Castagnet and Morris will decide who will receive the more than $15,000 in awards and merchandise at the annual event sponsored by the Northwest Watercolor Society.
