WASILLA — Speed is considered a factor in a rollover crash on Bogard Road that killed a 38-year-old Wasilla man Sunday afternoon.
Alaska State Troopers and officers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol responded to Bogard Road and Seward Meridian Parkway in Wasilla around 2:28 p.m., May 3 and found that Justin P. Davidson, 38, of Wasilla was westbound on Bogard Road when he drove off the roadway, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his vehicle during the crash, troopers said. They say speed also contributed to crash.
Davidson was transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to trooper dispatch.
The State Medical Examiner's Office responded and took possession of Davidson's remains for further Investigation.
Toxicology, however those results won’t be know for several days.
