WASILLA — Wednesday Night at the Museum continues at the Dorothy Page Museum in Wasilla through Dec. 17. The weekly events are offered free from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays at the museum in downtown Wasilla.
Activities planned are:
• July 30 — Learn to make sauerkraut with Professor Julie Cascio from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
• Aug. 6 — Learn how to dye wool and yarn with the Valley Fiber Arts Guild.
• Aug. 13 — All About Herbs: Fermenting. Learn about the best foods to ferment and their health benefits.
• Aug. 20 — Theatrical presentation, Part One of a five part series with the Homeless Actors Society.
• Aug. 27 — Tales from the Trails gives seven people seven minutes to tell a story with a theme of “fair.” To submit an entry, contact 373-9071.
• Sept. 3 — To be determined.
• Sept. 10 — Knitting demo with the Northern Lights Valley Knitters. This is a hands-on knitting and crocheting activity.
• Sept. 17 — Theatrical presentation, Part Two.
