WASILLA — Wells Fargo contributed $1,000 to The Children’s Place, a child abuse treatment facility and child advocacy center, as part of its Volunteer Service Award program. The award and donation recognize Mat-Su Valley District Manager Aryne Randall’s valuable contributions to The Children’s Place as a seven-year board member.
Randall serves as board treasurer for The Children’s Place. This is the fourth consecutive year she has received a Volunteer Service Award for her involvement with The Children’s Place.
In its 34th year, the Wells Fargo Volunteer Service Award program continues to recognize and reward team members’ volunteer efforts with contributions from Wells Fargo to the nonprofit or K-12 school where they volunteer. This year, 235 team members were awarded nearly $400,000 to their organizations.
The Children’s Place is a nonprofit organization that provides child abuse victims and their families with counseling, support services and on-site evaluation, investigation and treatment in a child-friendly, neutral facility for children in the Mat-Su Borough and outlying areas. The Children’s Place also provides child abuse prevention education and resources for Mat-Su residents.
