BIG LAKE — Alaska State Troopers say they are investigating the death of a 23-year-old Palmer man last week as a homicide.
Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle parked off the highway in Big Lake around 10:45 p.m., June 23. Inside the vehicle, troopers say they identified a deceased male as Christopher Seaman.
Based on the scene, “the death appeared suspicious,” troopers wrote.
The deceased mother Terria Walters has given a couple of media interviews since her son’s death asking the public to share information with law enforcement about the case.
Troopers and Seaman’s family are looking for information regarding his activities, or people he was associated with, between the afternoon of June 22 and the time his body was discovered in a car — a silver Honda Civic with Alaska license plate FJS829 — parked near the fireworks stands in Big Lake the evening of June 23.
Troopers say their investigation is ongoing.
