WASILLA —One person is dead following an accident along Knik-Goose Bay Road Tuesday.

Alaska State Troopers say Jayme Donoho, 32, died following a collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep just after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Donoho, of Wasilla, was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Brandon Haxton, 35.

Both Donoho and Haxton, also of Wasilla, were ejected off the motorcycle while traveling outbound on Knik-Goose Bay Road, troopers say. According to an online dispatch originally posted Tuesday afternoon, the collision was near Mile 7 of Knik-Goose Bay Road after a 2010 Jeep pulled out in front of the motorcycle off Commodore Road. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the motorcycle after the bike hit the driver’s side of the Jeep, according to the report.

Donoho died at the scene and the Haxton was medivaced with series injuries. A driver and a passenger in the Jeep were transported with, what are believed to be, non-life threatening injuries, troopers say.
