My sincerest apologies to any regular readers, I have not posted to the blogs in a couple of weeks. Not because I did not want to, because I would have loved the opportunity to sit back and do a few blogs. Life has consistently gotten in the way in the past couple of weeks. First Jeremiah had to be away for a few days because of the basketball tourney in Anchorage — I was a single parent for 3 days, and that 3 days gave me a new respect for those who are single parents on a day in - day out basis. It was not that it was difficult, but it was a new way of doing things. Thankfully I had a great support system, as I still had to work full-time outside the home and manage the kids and home on my own — It was rewarding to see that I could, I did do it!!
Then like clockwork, Jeremiah got back home — the kids both came down sick. That is often normal; however, for us sickness quickly turns to more with our oldest due to her special medical needs. 4 Emergency Room trips in 5 days time along with several trips to and calls with the peditrician. This on top of full-time work and full-time managing a home etc… Time to get to the gym and time to sit down and blog just weren't happening.
We now have 15 days to go in this here competition — I really hope your seeing successes, and want to say that even though our life was hectic and crazy, we both still continued to be successful by making better food choices and adding in extra steps etc.. wherever possible. Best Wishes and please know I hope to dedicate some time over the next several days to writing more and more and working to encourage you all and myself to keep being successful far beyond the "end" of this competition!
Until Next Time,
~ Amber ~
