WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers arrested two men last week in separate child sexual abuse cases.
The first arrest was on Jan. 9 at a home in Wasilla.
The suspect, Matthew Cross, 36, is accused of having sexual contact with a 10-year-old boy sometime last year. He was charged with one count of sexual abuse of a minor and jailed without bail.
The second arrest was three days later, on Jan. 13, and the suspect turned himself in after troopers obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Troy Godfrey, 42, of Wasilla, is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl. The complaint against him dates back to Dec. 27, 2012. His bail was set at $50,000.
Jail records show Cross has since had his bail set, posted it and been released from custody.
Godfrey, meanwhile, remains incarcerated at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.
