HOUSTON — A disturbance behind a popular local lodge Saturday landed two men in jail for drunken boating.
According to a press release from Alaska State Troopers, the report of a disturbance between a property owner and “several boaters” behind Houston Lodge came in at 9:32 p.m.
Two of the boaters were Larry C. Cole, 57, and Sean D. Bradley, 49, both of Wasilla.
“An investigation revealed both Cole and Bradley were operating separate watercraft while impaired by alcohol,” troopers report.
Both were jailed for drunken driving. Cole’s bail was set at $2,500 and he’ll need to find someone to watch him before he can be released. Bradley’s bail was set at $500. As of Monday, jail records showed both had made bail.
