WASILLA — There are numerous events scheduled in conjunction with Memorial Day across the Valley this year.
Veteran organizations across the Valley are coming together to hold the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Mat-Su Veterans Wall of Honor at 1 p.m.
American Legion Post 35 is holding their annual barbecue around 2 p.m. after the Memorial Day ceremony at the Mat-Su Veterans Wall of Honor in Wasilla.

American Legion Post 15 is holding their ceremony at the Palmer Pioneer Cemetery with an airplane dropping a wreath from the sky around 9:30 a.m. on Memorial Day. There will be a barbecue throughout the day starting around 1 p.m. For more information, call 907-745-4440.
