This is not easy as you all well know. I've been in good shape a few times in my life but for the most part I've always been overweight. Most all my friends and family are skinny, not perfect but healthy and I tend to stand out. My weight has prevented me from doing several things that I wish I could do. Mixed martial arts, mountain climbing and skydiving to name a few. Recently I've had a bit of trouble putting my socks on and I can get sweaty after taking a shower. If I had to run from a bear he would end up getting a good meal out of me, at least it might save my friend who was running with me. I want to be competitive for this so I started eating right by drastically cutting my junk food and portion sizes. Plus, I started doing cardio an hour a day. I wonder if too much change, too quick could hurt me. My goal is to get into the top 20 but I would love to get a prize. I'm naturally a big guy so my ultimate goal is 200lbs. I'm not even sure why I'm writing here but maybe it will help in some way.
