It will forever be better because of her, my first child. The one who helped shape me into the mother I am now. I love this girl more than I could ever say. Just a few of the things we enjoy to do together are: singing, hiking, camping, fishing, drawing, and of course making forts in the living room! Our family is very close. We’re unlike today’s families in that we get along quite well and get together for all the holidays and some other occasions that we just sometimes make up. Sophie Adeszko is the Matriarch. Carol Giese, Nanci Adeszko-Rapp, Janet Lockman and Jackie Endsley are her daughters. Pictured are Carol’s daughters Patty Giese (not pictured is Paula McCarrol), Patty’s daughters Cassidy, Kennedy and Kelsea. Janet Lockman’s daughter, Jacqui Lockman, Jackie Endsley’s granddaughter Ashlin Ambrose, our brother Mike’s wife Michelle Adeszko, her daughter Madoline and daughter-in-law to be, Emily Crowell. We are tight knit — we take care of Mom (92) and take care of each other. We have been in Palmer and Alaska beginning in 1968 with Carol and her husband moving up, then everyone else eventually following. Michelle recently began teaching Grace how to play the piano, and she sang in her school's talent show a few weeks ago. Michelle has been singing and playing the piano since she was very young and has had professional opera training.
