When you are talking about art, rarely does a third-dimension sneak into the conversation.
On Nov. 18, however, that third-dimension will definitely have people talking, as unusual, three-dimensional sculptures will be taking over Mat-Su College for a couple weeks.
Art students in Gene Stotts' "Three-Dimensional Design" class at Mat-Su College are hosting a showing of their works on Nov. 18 at the Mat-Su College Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Fred and Sara Machetanz Building on the MSC campus, which is located at Mile 2 Trunk Road.
On the first day of the showing, it will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The event is open to the public. The works will remain on exhibit until Dec. 10.

People can also call that number of arrange private showings and for the hours that a docent will have the gallery open each day.
Stotts is the sculptor who is working on the War Dogs Memorial project. A design has been completed, and now funds are being raised for Stotts' art to be cast in bronze and erected at the Veterans' Wall of Honor.
