Special Olympic gold and silver medalist Pearl Weaver enters work Thursday to a hail of confetti and cheering from her co-workers at Geneva Woods Health Care Services in Wasilla. Weaver grabbed the gold in the 1000 meter cross country ski competition and the silver in the 500 meter competition at the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Boise, Idaho. A story about Weaver's journey to the Olympics will be in Sunday's paper.
