Daniel Grota’s article about pet peeves out on the open road was right on point. I would like to add a couple he didn’t mention: tailgaters and left lane drivers. Even though the tailgaters are intimidating and dangerous, it’s the left lane drivers that drive me crazy. They appear to have no concept that they are hindering the smooth flow of traffic. Considering that there is no shortage of road signs stating “Keep right except to pass,” I don’t understand how they can stay so oblivious.
