ABC Travel Time to consolidate offices

Travel agency owner Cindy Bettine announced this week that ABC Travel Time will consolidate its two Valley offices under one roof in Wasilla at 191 E. Swanson Ave.

In June, the agency’s current Palmer location at 234 W. Evergreen will be leased to Silva Insurance.

“The really great news for our Palmer customers,” Bettine says, “is that Silva Insurance has agreed to provide a spot for clients to pick up travel documents and make payments for travel. So, we will continue to have a presence in Palmer.”

Bettine founded ABC Travel Time in 1978 in Wasilla and opened a Palmer branch in 1982. Palmer Manager Jeanne Chalker Lentz will move to the Wasilla office, where she will serve as agency manager.

“We love Palmer and will continue to be involved in the business community,” says Lentz, who grew up in Palmer and has managed the Palmer office since 1987.

Cindy Bettine continues to head up the company and works part-time.

The Wasilla office is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The final closing day for the Palmer office will be today. For more information call 907-376-5231.
