To the editor:
I want to say a huge thank you to Wal-Mart Assistant Manager Jarrod. I called last Friday to see if Marline Munsle the store manager was there. I was trying to see about donations for all of the people displaced flooding here in the Mat-Su Valley.
Jarrod answered and with no hesitation asked me what we needed. I told him 50 towels, frozen dinners for 50 people, shampoo and conditioner. By the time I got off the phone with him he said that it was already being bagged up and would be ready for us to pick up.
When the donation was picked up I was told that there were 150 frozen individual meals, and 60 towels. Also there was a whole shopping cart full of shampoo, conditioner and soap.
I have to say that Jarrod and all of the employees who helped him went above and beyond for our community. I am thankful that there are people in this world still willing to help no questions asked. Especially when they work at a very large corporation.
Thank you Jarrod.
