HOUSTON —The Anchorage Christian School Lions needed overtime to edge Houston 60-58 at Houston High School on Thursday.
Gus Simmers scored seven of his game-high 18 points in overtime to help give ACS the nonconference win. Ryan Scott added 15 points for the Lions.
Scott Kramer led the Hawks with 16 points. He scored five of Houston’s 11 in overtime. Zack Qual added 11 points.
In girls action, ACS scored a 37-22 win over Houston. Savanna James led the Hawks with eight points.
