Act of kindness remembered with gratitude and warmth

To the editor:

Today I broke down in Wasilla. After playing with a few things under the hood, it was apparent I wasn’t going to start. As I stood there with my hood up trying to think of what to do, a really nice man stopped and helped me out without even being asked.

There is no better feeling than getting help when you are in trouble. And that’s not the first time getting roadside help. You special Alaskans who help others need to know that long after you have ridden off into the sunset, your acts of kindness are remembered with gratitude and warmth. God bless you all.
